WORK OF IMAGINATION CLOSENESS HONESTY AND HOPE

The mysteries of God are intriguing to me and through painting and writing I am always seeking the truth. The meaning behind this artwork is as deep as the many several layers of paint and textures rendered here. Springing off from the inspiration Psalm 121 gave my previous work in this collection, "My Help Comes From The Lord", "Eternal Breath" carries the faith that God Is. God The Father, The Lord Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit have always been, have no beginning and no end and Christ's Resurrection means He is alive and active in our lives. These truths are the significance of what the cross behind the mountain symbolizes while the vibrating cross on the middle far right represents Christ's gift of sacrifice out of love for all mankind planned before the beginning as we know it. If you look closely around the middle of the painting, you will see a figure in a robe dancing.

God held dust from the earth He created in His hands and breathed life into it and man was formed. From man, God breathed life into man's rib and woman was formed. The natural dried leaf towards the bottom left corner symbolizes from dust we come and to dust we go. God the Father is the author and finisher of our life and life itself. God speaks His word through Jesus Christ and scripture and as the Good Book says, His word is never void. Prophets heard the still voice of God, as I hear His whispers in my heart and spirit. I listened to the sounds of the winds on top of the highest mountains through YouTube while I painted to draw into the closest sound I could get to express the breath of life that is beyond the earth's existence from eternity.

"Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." Genesis 2:7

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind." John 1:1-4

"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

"No, in all these things we are more than conquerers through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:37-39
